Discrimination in our society

Discrimination is a form of rejection, treating somebody different, looking down on someone or simply means that you are hurting someone with no valid reason to have. This is the one of the major problem of our society that until now is existing, we all know that this is not good but until know we can’t stop it.

There are many types of discrimination it may be about your age, religion, physical appearance, nationality and especially because of the gender that we are choosing. We all know that we have our own mind that will choose whatever decision we must have in the future, but still even thou we have it there will be an tendency to choose what we really don’t want, because we are scared to be discriminate by someone because she/he don’t like the decision that we made in our own life. Discrimination should not exist because we all know that anybody can give you some advice on what decision you will have, but still at the end you’ll be the final receiver of any consequences that you might received in the end. Discrimination is a form of activity by the person who are meddling other people life because they are selfish and they don’t care about others, they are the people  who is lack of attention.

I read some article entitled “TheEnd of Discrimination Starts With You” by Todd Smith. This article talks about that everyone one of us has a very important role to stop the discrimination because for him discrimination is dehumanizing because you deny the value of who they are as an individual and discrimination is subtle or overt, people know when they are being discriminated against, and it’s painful. He said that to stop this discrimination we must do our roles to stop it, some of it is you must help the people who you think get discriminate and we must be friend with him/her and do anything that we can. These are the basic step that will cause a lot and maybe the key to permanently remove the discrimination problem in our society. “Each of us plays an important role in ending discrimination against those with whom we live and work.” this line tells me that even thou we think in ourselves that we are doing some small help to those who get discriminate, it will cause them a big help and probably it may became the key to erase the discrimination in our society. Each of us should do our simple help for those people who get discriminate  because we know that being discriminated is very painful even thou we not get discriminate let just think that someone are stopping us to do the thing that we really love .

We are all people, we must treat everyone of us equally even thou we have a different decision that we made in our lives we must respect it. No one can decide in others life because we are born with our mind and I know that no one of us will be happy if somebody’s going to dictate you. We are born with our blemishes and no one is living as a perfect because we are born to respect each other.

The difference between boys and girls

Society know that being a man and women is very different from each other, since we are born we are starting to acquire that stigma that boys and girls must be different, so we start separating things that belongs to a girl or to a boy.

There are many differences between boy and girl for example girl want a doll to play with it and to make their doll elegant to look, if you give a doll to a boy it usually making the doll like a hammer or a weapon that they can use because boys usually like a toy guns, axe or anything that can use to have an action or to become like one of the action stars. Boys don’t want a large volume of makeup because it actually making them look like a clown, girls like wearing large volume of make up because it making them more elegant to look and now most of the perfume are label if it’s either for a male or female.

I read some article entitled “TheReal Difference between Boys and Girls” by Anita Sethi, Ph.d. this article talks about the differences between boys and girls, first she said that they differ on the motion because boys are more adept at keeping track of moving objects; recent research shows that boys are about two months ahead of girls when it comes to figuring out the laws of motion (that if you roll a ball under a couch, say, it will take a few seconds to pop out on the other side). Secondly he named this difference as They've got the moves because Girls do talk first, but boys are likely to start walking -- and hit all the major motor milestones -- around the same time as girls. Third are those boys tend to be more easily agitated than girls and have a harder time self-soothing. Fourth is Boys preferred looking at groups of faces (future teammates, perhaps?) rather than individual ones. In fact, given the choice, newborn boys would rather look at a mobile than a single face. Last is that Boys express fear later than girls, and less often. The author wrote a line that tells” My son turned his doll's crib into a race car and my daughter was obsessed with shoes.” Then there’s a question flowing in my mind that why is it when we getting older these enjoying things will stop? Is it because we know that this is not good enough to do or we just thinking that our society will going to judge us, this line also tells me that even thou when we are still a baby we have our differences even thou we have a lack of mind.

Differences are actually normal to people because god created us unique and have our different weaknesses and strengths, we have different talents and we have different abilities that we can do and others can’t. Differences are not a form of separation to each other because this will only served for us to know our limitations in life that will make us better. Sometimes we are making some people different from us because she/he doing different things but still they are people we just not have the decision in life. The lessons that I learned is since are birth we have are differences and we should not add something on it because it will not produce a good effect on us.

Real Scenario

All movies have a story its either fiction or nonfiction, but all of this has a character that will signify the role that the director wants to have. Artist is the people who portraying the roles of a real person or an imaginary character, they have a skill to do some action and make it look like a real scenario.

Movies may happen in a real life but not all of this is possible to happen, because there are some limitations that people can do, while in the  lens of the camera which movie are created all things are becoming possible.  All of us are dreaming to become a popular but how? , Do we need to be a superhero that always winning in a battle because this is the thing that always happening in a movie but in the real life were not always winning there are many times that we are losing also. Movies giving us a mind that thinks limitless, it may be a good motivation but it also give us a negative effect because sometimes we do some things that even we know we can’t do it we are trying to pursue it and it may cause us danger in our lives, for example in a movie one man can defeat 4 man but do you think in the real life it may happen? , another example is when you’re dying and of course in the movie your savior will come and save you but in the real life it may not happen, That are the example scenario that not always happening in our real life.

I read some article entitled “DoDisney movies affect boys the same as girls?” by Louise Peterken. These article talks about those movies have a different approach but it will cause same effect to boy and girl but the gist of this article is that we are acquiring some scenario form a movie and we are actually doing it in our real lives.“Disney movies affect boys and girls in the same way in that they encourage them to either conform to traditional gender roles or challenge them, depending on what period they were produced in. “I think this line want to say that the purpose of Disney movies is to motivate people who are watching it to dream higher and all will be possible, but I don’t think so that it will be a good motivation because like what I said it can bring us to danger, let just admit that not all things are possible in the real life.

The viewer who is watching the movie will be still the one who will decide on what to acquire on that movie because we have our mind to choose and to decide on what is wrong thing and good thing that we must get from that movie. Dreaming high is not bad until we know are limitation.

We have no rights to refuse them.

Gays and Lesbian are the gender that is not accepted in the society but their population is still increasing till now, is there any problem with them? Because even they are not accepted some people choosing to become one of them and what is the main reason why others can’t accept them?

The reasons why the society can’t accept them because the stigma that our ancestors give to us it’s never been move in our mind, and that stigma can be easily wiped out if we will open our mind and think. People have a different opinion and a different mind but god creates us with a purpose to change something that will benefit all of us.

The things that are ancestor using in the old days is now our decoration in our houses because we start developing it and now we have a high tech gadgets that we can use in our daily life, it’s like the stigma that our ancestor give to us we need to removed it because we don’t get any benefit on it and the only thing that we can get on it is a separation, a gay and lesbian that still a people that have no disease and still fighting for an acceptance in our society.  

I read some article that entitled “Howto Understand Gay and Lesbian People” one of its editor is Ben Rubenstein. The article talks about several tips on how to understand a gay or a lesbian and how to start accepting them in our society, actually they made a step first one is Learn that gay men and lesbians are no different from any other group of people, 2^nd Forget about stereotypes; they almost always do not apply, 3^rd Accept the fact that the ability to love or care for another is not solely related to sexuality; love has no gender, 4^th Realize that it is not your business who other people love, 5^th Understand that gay and lesbian people do not choose to be gay and cannot make themselves straight; just as straight people do not choose to feel attracted towards the opposite sex, 6^th Be open minded, as you would be with any other person, and last is If you don't agree with it, don't insult them! . “Gay men and lesbians are not as different from the rest of society as you may assume they are.”  This line is a reminder for all of us that gays and lesbian is not an alien or a people with a disease that is contagious, we must accept them because they are also a people who want an acceptance with the decision that they choose and that is to be different with us but still they choose it us a people, a people that belongs to our society and have a rights to all that other people acquiring now.

Gays and Lesbian is also a people who need a respect and an acceptance from our society. We need to accept what they are and what decision they will make because it’s not our life and we have no right to control them because they have their own mind and heart. We must accept them as a normal people of this society because they are belong to this society and they have the rights to be accepted in this society even we don’t want.
