Disney movies

Fantasy movie is created for us to be entertained by the fiction story about the powers, places that is not true, magical things and words, and also enchanted characters. Based on a study watching a fantasy movie can make us think more creative because it allows us to think beyond on what we already know, this kind of film introduces as to a new ambiance of reality but sometimes it tend to introduce us to set an expectations on some things.

We all know that all of us already watch one of the Disney film, it was really entertaining in fact most of the Disney film have earned millions of dollars.  Some movies like Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Snow white, Rupunzel and many more is all about a guy that will save her princess from enemies. Heroic scenes cannot be removed from any Disney movie because it’s all about how brave you are to save your princess.

I read some article entitled “Disney's racism and sexism” by Anna Escher this article talks about that Disney movies gives us Sexist implications are brought up with the way gender is portrayed in Disney movies. Disney princesses have high-pitched voices and disproportionately skinny waists and they portray girls as Barbie dolls that have. They are providing some unrealistic expectations for a girl. Disney’s gender stereotyping has become a flawed template for what men, women and romance are supposed to be like in modern perceptions. “Now that we are older, wiser and not so easily swayed by bright colors, sappy theme music and predictable endings” this line tell me that we must be more wiser and we should not put some expectation on each other based on what movies show us because we are different with each other.

Even though we are seeing some characters that portraying to be brave that have the muscles to protect their princess from enemy, we should not stay on to that expectations for men because not all of us have the same body and same ability to do we have our own strengths and weaknesses.
